# Slideshow

The slide show section of your home page is the main visible element that your customer will see when they land on your online store. If you make this section as eye-catching as possible, your customers are more likely to stay on your site and increase the chances of conversion.

### How to Enable the Slideshow

1. Log into your control panel.
2. Go to **Design** > **Theme Editor**.
3. Hover your mouse over your slideshow in the store preview.
4. Click **Edit**.&#x20;
5. A panel will open on the left.
6. Click (check) **Enabled**.
7. Click **Save**.

### How to Add a Slideshow Image

1. Log into your control panel.
2. Go to **Design** > **Theme Editor**.
3. Hover your mouse over your slideshow in the store preview.
4. Click **Edit**.&#x20;
5. A panel will open on the left.
6. Click **Add New Slideshow Image**.
7. The *Image Gallery* pop-up will appear.
8. Upload or select an image from your gallery to be in your slideshow.
9. Click **Save**.

### How to add an Alt tag to a Slideshow Image

1. Log into your control panel.
2. Go to **Design** > **Theme Editor**.
3. Hover your mouse over your slideshow in the store preview.
4. Click **Edit**.&#x20;
5. Hover over the image you wish to add the Alt tag to.
6. Locate and click the **"A"** icon.
7. A field will appear below, enter your image description (Alt Tag) in the field.
8. Repeat for any other images you wish to add an Alt Tag to.
9. **Save** when you are happy.
