# "Error: The transaction was refused. Verify the transaction and try the request again."

### What does the "Error: The transaction was refused. Verify the transaction and try the request again." mean?

This error comes straight from the card issuer. This appears when the bank has refused the transaction. Unfortunately, the banks do not provide us with the information as to why the transaction was declined, just that it was declined.

To find out why this happened, I suggest you get in contact with your card issuer, they may be able to shed a little more light as to why the transaction was declined.
