Connecting a domain name with DNS records

DNS records to connect a domain name to freewebstore

These instructions are generic, so they may differ slightly, depending on which registrar your domain name is registered to:

1. Log into your domain registrar account.

2. Navigate to the "DNS settings" section for your domain name.

3. Create/ edit an "A Record" with a host of "@" or blank to point to: "54.154.42.22".

4. Create/ edit a "C Name" with a host of "www" to point to: "shop.freewebstore.org".

5. Save.

1. Log into your Freewebstore Control Panel.

2. Navigate to: Marketing > Domain Names.

3. Add your domain name (or click the [Retry] button if you've already added it).

Please note, this is a paid only feature, so you will have to upgrade your account to connect a domain name using this method. You can attach a domain name for free by using the "Transfer" option.
