Webmaster tools
A detailed explanation as to what and why Google webmaster tools are incredibly useful within your Freewebstore Control Panel.
Submitting your Sitemap to Google is a key part of improving your store's search engine rankings.
After submitting a sitemap, search engines can send their spiders (not the scary kind) to crawl your store and feedback the information, improving your rankings.
This is something we do for you automatically, so you don't really need to worry about it. If you want to manage it yourself, you can set up a Google Webmaster Tools account to submit your sitemap manually.
It can take anywhere between a few weeks and a few months before search engines, such as Google, index your store and begin to show it in their results pages. To help speed up this process, you may want to consider signing up for Google Webmaster Tools and submitting your Sitemap to them. This will provide them with an up-to-date list of all pages on your store. While this is not guaranteed to speed up the indexing process, it should at least ensure that Google has a clear map of your entire store.
