FAQ Page
A step-by-step guide detailing how to add a Frequently Asked Questions Page to your free online store from within your Freewebstore Control Panel.
You might find that your customers are asking you the same question over and over and over again. These questions could be compiled together along with the answers to your questions on an FAQ page on your online store.
Create a FAQ Page on your Freewebstore
Log into your Freewebstore account.
Go to Design > Theme Editor
In the Theme Editor menu, select Add > Page
Select FAQs
Choose from a selection of templates provided to you by freewebstore.
Edit your FAQ Page
Go to Design > Theme Editor
Select FAQs from the Page Selector drop-down menu at the top of the screen. FAQs will only appear if you have already created an FAQ page.
The FAQ page should then appear in the main window.
Hover over the page content.
Click Edit
A menu will appear on the left-hand side.
Edit the Format of your FAQ Page
Go to the FAQ Edit menu as discussed in Edit Your FAQ Page
On the Edit Page section, click the FAQ Settings Button.
Edit the Format of your Group Title
Go to the FAQ Settings section discussed in Edit the Format of Your FAQ Page
Select the font weight, size and color you wish to use for your Group Title.
Edit the Format of your Group Summary
In the FAQ Settings section as discussed in Edit the Format of Your FAQ Page
Select the font size and color you wish to use for your Group Summary.
Edit the Format of your FAQ Questions
In the FAQ Settings section as discussed in Edit the Format of Your FAQ Page
Go to FAQ Questions
Select the font size and color you wish to use for your FAQ Questions.
Click Save
Edit the Format of your FAQ Answers
In the FAQ Settings section as discussed in Edit the Format of Your FAQ Page
Scroll down to FAQ Answers
Select the font size and color you wish to use for your FAQ Answers.
Click Save
Choose a Different Template for your FAQ Page
In the FAQ Settings section as discussed in Edit the Format of Your FAQ Page
Scroll down to FAQ Template
Click Change
Choose from the template options
Click Select Template
Click Save
Add Content to your FAQ Page
Content on your FAQ Page may be organized into groups. For example, you may wish to organize your FAQ page into sections about Returns, Payment and Delivery. To do this, create a Group for each subject.
You must have at least one Group on your FAQ Page. However, you may remove the content of the Group Title or Group Summary if you do not wish to display this content on your page.
Edit a Group Title on your FAQ Page
In the FAQ Edit Page section as discussed in Edit Your FAQ Page
Scroll down to Your FAQs
In the Group Title section, replace the default text with the name of your Group Title.
Edit a Group Summary on your FAQ Page
In the FAQ Edit Page section as discussed in Edit Your FAQ Page
Scroll down to Your FAQs
In the Group Summary section, replace the default text with a short paragraph explaining this section.
Click Save
Add a Group to your FAQ Page
In the FAQ Edit Page section as discussed in Edit Your FAQ Page
Scroll down to Your FAQs
Click the "Add Group" button which appears below your FAQs.
Click Save
Add a Question to your FAQ Page
In the FAQ Edit Page section as discussed in Edit Your FAQ Page
Scroll down to Your FAQs
Click the "Add Question" button which appears below your FAQs.
Click Save
Delete a Group Title from your FAQ Page
In the FAQ Edit Page section as discussed in Edit Your FAQ Page
Scroll down to Your FAQs
In the Group Title section, delete the text.
Click Save
Delete a Group Summary from your FAQ Page
In the FAQ Edit Page section as discussed in Edit Your FAQ Page
Scroll down to Your FAQs
In the Group Summary section, delete the text.
Click Save
Delete your FAQ Page
In the FAQ Edit Page section as discussed in Edit Your FAQ Page
Scroll down to the bottom
Click Delete Page
Type in the required content into a text input box
Click Confirm Delete
Content cannot be recovered after you click Confirm Delete
