# FAQ Page

A step-by-step guide detailing how to add a Frequently Asked Questions Page to your free online store from within your Freewebstore Control Panel.

You might find your customers asking you the same questions again and again. An FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) section answers them once, on your store, so customers can help themselves before they buy.

On the new design system your FAQ is a **block**: a section you add to a page and edit in place, like any other block. You can put it on its own FAQ page, or add it anywhere else on your store, such as under your delivery information.

### Add an FAQ to your store

1. Log in to your Freewebstore Control Panel.
2. Go to **Design > Website Theme**.
3. Choose the page you want your FAQ on from the page list. To give your FAQ a page of its own, click **+** (New page) in the page list first.
4. Hover over the section above or below where you want the FAQ, and click the **+** button on its top or bottom edge.
5. In **Add a block**, choose **FAQ**.
6. Click **Publish** to make it live.

### Edit your questions and answers

1. Go to **Design > Website Theme** and open the page with your FAQ on it.
2. Hover over the FAQ section and click **Edit**.
3. Your questions appear as numbered items along the top of the panel. Click one to edit its **Question text** and **Answer text**.
4. To add a question, click the **+** at the end of the items. You can have up to 50 questions in one FAQ block.
5. To remove a question, select it and click **Remove this item**.
6. Click **Done**, then **Publish** to make your changes live.

### Change the heading, tab title and colour

In the same Edit panel:

* **Section title text** is the heading shown above your FAQ (for example "Got questions?").
* **Tab Title** is the label on the tab above your questions (for example "Ordering & Delivery").
* **Question colour** chooses which of your brand colours the questions use.

The fonts and colours otherwise come from your Brand Kit, so your FAQ always matches the rest of your store.

### Hide or remove your FAQ

Hover over the FAQ section:

* To **hide** it for now, click the eye icon, then **Publish**. It stays in the editor, marked Hidden, so you can show it again later.
* To **remove** it, click the bin icon, then **Publish**. Until you publish, **Discard** brings it back.

### Older designs

If your store still uses one of our older designs, your FAQ is managed under **Manage > Pages**: open your FAQ page and click the pencil icon to edit your questions, groups and FAQ settings. When you switch to the new design system, your existing questions are carried over into an FAQ block for you.
