# Initial Setup

*If you have not yet located the Cart Saver page, please see the previous article:* [*Locating & First Look*](/marketing/email-campaigns/cart-saver/locating-and-first-look.md)*.*

1. Click **Get Started**. (You should have done this in the previous page instructions).
2. A pop-up will appear.
3. You'll then be to see a list of templates available for your *first* Cart Saver email. **Hover your mouse** over any template.
4. Click **Select Template**.
5. If this is your first initial setup, you'll be shown a small tutorial on how to access and edit your email.
6. Edit your template as you see fit.
7. Click **Save Email**.
8. Once your email has been saved, you'll then be asked if you would like to set up a second follow-up email. We recommend doing this.
9. Complete steps 4 through 7 again if you want to send a second follow-up email.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.freewebstore.com/marketing/email-campaigns/cart-saver/initial-setup.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
