# Delete an Existing Customer Account

There are a number of reasons you might want to delete a customer from your records. To do this:

1. Login to your Control Panel.
2. Go to **Orders > Customers.**
3. Locate the customer account you would like to delete.
4. Click the "X" in the red box to the right of your customer account row.
5. **Save.**

Removing a customer account from your Freewebstore Control Panel will remove the account forever. Make sure that you no longer need any information about the customer you are about to delete. Once you delete a customer account, it is gone forever!
