A step-by-step guide and explanations detailing how to set up and integrate Google's Gsuite app into your online store via your Freewebstore Control Panel.

When you enable the GSuite app within your control panel, you unlock many helpful tools and features such as:

Setting up the Gsuite App

  1. Log in to your Control Panel.

  2. Go to the App Center and locate the GSuite app. OR Go to Marketing > Google Tools > Gsuite.

  3. Click the Enable App button and then again in the new window.

  4. Click Go to App.

  5. Select a domain you wish to use for your GSuite app. If you do not already have a custom domain you will need to click Add Domain Name.

  6. Once you have selected/added the domain name you wish to use, a new section will appear below, fill out the required fields.

  7. Click Confirm.

  8. We will then process this and create your new GSuite Mailbox.

Congratulations, you have now set up your brand new custom professional email address.

You will receive an email to your primary email address (the one you use for logging in to your Control Panel) with your login details for your new mailbox. We recommend you log in to your new mailbox and change your username and password straight away to something secure and memorable. You can find a direct link to your mailbox login page by going to the GSuite page in your Control Panel.

What is an Email Alias?

This field requires you to enter your preferred name before the "@" of the email address. So for example, [your name here]@yourstorename.com. This will ultimately create your custom professional email address.
