Setting the Default Currency

Step by step instructions on how to change/set the default store currency for your free online store from within your Freewebstore Control Panel.

How do I change the default currency for my store?

You may find that your customers are from a certain area in the world. For this reason, you may want to change the currency values that are shown when a potential customer sees when they load your store. Your customers can always change the currency they see by selecting their currency in the Currency Selector found on your store.

To change the default currency:

1. Login to your Freewebstore Control Panel.

2. Go to the Settings > Store section.

3. Scroll down the page a little to locate the panel labeled Store Currency.

4. Simply select your desired currency from the dropdown menu.

5. Update.
