Changing your Free URL

A step-by-step guide detailing how to administer changes to your free default URL from within your Freewebstore Control Panel.

When you create a store using Freewebstore, we provide you with a free URL along with a free SSL certificate so that you and others can access your store easily and securely.

This can be changed to another free URL if you wish.

How to Change/ Update your Free URL

1. Log into your control panel.

2. Go to Marketing > Domain Names.

3. Click the Pencil icon next to your free URL.

1. Search for your desired URL and select it.

2. A confirmation pop-up will appear showing you the previous free URL and the new URL. If you are happy with the changes, click Confirm.

How often can you Change your Free URL?

You can change your free URL as many times as you wish. However, for SEO reasons, we'd recommend that you do not change it often.
