# How do I void my label?

We understand that sometimes you might purchase a label for your package that may never get sent due to your customer cancelling their order. We also understand that you would like to test out the feature just to see how it works. It is simple to delete a label.

To void a label:

1. Log in to your control panel.
2. Head over to the order page you wish to void the label for via the **Orders > List all orders** section.
3. Click **View** in the **Shipping Panel**.
4. Expand the label by clicking the **+** icon to the right of the information.
5. Underneath the label that appears, you will see two buttons. Click the **Void Label** button.
6. Complete the instructions that follow to void the label.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Please Note:** It is not currently possible to void any labels that use the Royal Mail services that follow:

* **Royal Mail Tracked 24/48**
* **Royal Mail 24/48**
 {% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.freewebstore.com/orders/generating-shipping-labels/how-do-i-void-my-label.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
