# Add a Special Offer to a Product

There are many reasons you would offer a special price on an individual product. 10%, 20%, 100% you have complete freedom to knock any monetary value off of your product's base price at Freewebstore.

### How do I add a special offer to a Product?

To add a special offer to your products:

1. Login to your Freewebstore Control Panel.
2. Go to **Manage > Products > List All Products.**
3. Click **Edit** for the product you wish to add a special offer to.
4. Locate and expand the **Pricing** panel.
5. Here, you can edit the base price of your product, add a discount and add an individual tax setting to your product.
6. Once you are happy with your changes, click **Save.**

If you have the **Sold-out Overlay** enabled in the [**Image Graphics**](/manage/images/image-graphics.md) section of your [**Theme Editor**](/design/theme-editor.md)**,** adding a special offer to your product will add the sold-out overlay to your image on your store.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.freewebstore.com/manage/products/your-products/add-a-special-offer-to-a-product.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
