# Site Verification

### What is Site Verification?

Site verification allows you to verify and claim your online store with 3rd party websites such as Google, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Bing, and more.&#x20;

This allows you to prove that this store and domain belong to you.

### How to verify your store for a site

To verify your store:

1. Log into your Freewebstore Control Panel.
2. Go to **Marketing** > **Site Verification**.
3. Expand the tab of the company you wish to verify your store for.
4. Enter the text of the **content** section of your verification code.
5. Click **Save.**
